OUR SERVICES

At LIN-MARK Sports, our timing services include the following:

  • Personal consultation with event directors to discuss event goals and event day requirements, as well as provide suggestions based on experience and knowledge

  • Provision and set up of all equipment for timing, results, course start & finish set up

  • Capability for multiple starts/finish lines, plus timing splits on course for large events.

  • Downloadable on-going times from course and at start/finish on-going from start to finish lines enabling quick finish results

  • Self contained work area from LIN-MARK Sports van, if no shelter area is provided

  • Liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000

  • Provision of course mile signs and traffic cones

  • Optional set up an announcer’s notebook and timing mat close to the finish line to allow for finishers names to be announced as they cross the finish line

  • Flexible and competitive race service fees 

  • Set up of video camera at the finish line to capture all finishers live. The video is then
    available with posted events results on LINMARK Sports "results" page.

  • Removal of all items concluding event, leaving site as originally provided

At LIN-MARK Sports, our equipment/tech includes the following:

  • Text cell phone results sent directly to each finisher with final race times - results are also posted live on our website during the event.
     

  • PC notebooks provided on site for direct online entry with simple instruction from our team

  • Paper entry forms, if digital entry is not preferred

  • Data entry of paper forms, if digital entry is not preferred 

  • Printed pre-race name rosters and packet labels provided to registration volunteers with simple instruction assistance

  • Race bibs, if provided by us

  • Race bib pins

  • Copy of Event Award winners provided to announcer for awards.

  • Listing on the LIN-MARK Sports website and Facebook page for exposure and promotion

  • On request, email marketing for your event to our database of previous participants

Our MULTI-EVENT SERVICES include:

Triathlons & Duathlons: full splits on course plus at all transitions entry and exits.  Safety checks included with swimming events. 

There are a total of 5 splits for each participant in their triathlon results & posted results.  We also set-up and do safety count check-ins for each swimmer entering the water prior to their wave start.  We couple this entry count with their water exit count.  Most events request that this is given to their water safety team. 

 

We also record any DNFs.  DNF count is added to finishers count at the finish line.  This total must agree with the confirmed count of all swimmers who entered the water, which is a standard procedure for LIN-MARK Sports.  We ensure accountability for each race participant through each logistic event transition.

 

LIN-MARK Sports also rents out or for an additional fee -  can deliver or set up bike racks for Triathlons or Duathlons.

All Lin-Mark Events Are Timed Using The Chronotrack Timing System


For Road Races and Duathlons we use the disposable B Tag which is affixed to the back of the runners bib#.
For Triathlons and Swims we use the disposable Tri Chip which is worn on a velcro ankle band.

Our Standard Timing Setup is:

  • Road Races:  Start Line and Finish Line To Produce Tag and Gun Times.

  • Tri's/Du's: 

  • Swim Check in - Swim Start

  • swim/Run1 - finish

  • bike out - Start

  • bike in - Finish

  • run out - Start

  • finish line 

  • (5 splits with transition times)
